WCAHA offers a Learn to Play Hockey program for kids under the age of 9 years old who have never played organized hockey before. Your child will learn skills fundamental to the game of hockey including skating and puck handling. The season will consist of two practices per week and a minimum of 5 jamborees throughout the season. Once your child is proficient in the fundamental skills of skating and stickhandling, they will be eligible to join one of our U9 teams that competes in BC's Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA).
WCAHA offers complete gear rental for families at a cost of $60 per season with a $150 refundable deposit. Alternatively, families can purchase their own gear at a variety of new and used hockey stores in Seattle and the Vancouver suburbs.
