Coaching Requirements

• • Complete Coaching Application
  • USA Hockey Registration - choose Player/Coach
  • Submit a Background Check
  • Complete SafeSport.
  • USA Hockey Coaching Education Clinic (CEP). This will need to be done every year until you reach Level 4. (training Sept - Dec of each season, reimbursable)
  • USA Hockey Age-Specific Modules

If you are going to be an Assistant or Head coach of a PCAHA League Team you need to complete the following in addition:

• • Complete Respect In Sport (BC Hockey version of Safesport)
  • Complete BC Hockey Concussion Awareness (CATT)
  • Register for a BC Hockey Number (one time only)
    • Email Carol McGregor cmcgregor@pcaha.ca at PCAHA the following information:
    • • Name as it appears on your drivers license
      • Address
      • Telephone number
      • Birthdate
