Our Whatcom County Amateur Hockey Association (WCAHA) has been dedicated to providing the youth in Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties with the opportunity to learn, train, and play Ice Hockey at all ages and levels since 1993.

For the beginners we coordinate "learn to play" programs for all ages. For those that have hockey experience we offer you a chance to compete against Canadian and Northwest teams every weekend for the 9 months that comprises our hockey season. We have certified coaches that work with parent coaches and managers to create a safe learning environment where training includes sportsmanship, stick handling, agility drills, fitness, nutrition, and the strengths of team unity. WCAHA also works with corporate sponsors to help spread the costs so that Ice Hockey is made more affordable to all our players. Our association also offers scholarship programs to players that qualify and we are very proud of our community support.

A new hockey season is just around the corner! We hope you are as excited as we are about the upcoming season. We feel that with the talented and dedicated individuals that are part of this association that this will be our best season ever! Our association welcomes any child or parent with an interest in ice hockey.
